Rear Disk Brakes
(From CCOT Board)
I just did the cad caliper. 1987 El dorado rear. Cadillac uses two types of
calipers One has the ebrake pulling toward the front of the car, the other
towards the middle. You want the one that pulls toward the front. It has the
smaller cup.
'78 Monte Carlo calipars loaded (with pins, bolts and pads)
'90 Chevy 4x4 1/2 ton STANDARD cab rotors
Raybestos BH38149 hoses, SAE to metric. JT Outfitters does have braded steel
brake lines that will work.
There are a few very good descriptios of how to do this on IH8mud.com. Look in
their tech section
You'll need to use 28mm long banjo bolts with the BH38149 hoses. You should be
able to get these at one of your local auto parts stores.
